ROMANS PROJECT

What is the Romans Project:
Imagine the impact of well trained pastors throughout Asia and Africa equipping their congregations. The RomansProject provides a unique opportunity for Christians in America to reach beyond local, everyday life...to encourage fellow Christians around the world in a very practical, life-impacting way. We challenge pastors to give themselves to the study of the book of Romans by committing to read the book of Romans twenty times and copying the entire
book into a notebook, word for word. Upon completion, each pastor is given a
Mp3 player that contains Scott Gilchrist’s complete exposition of Romans –
over one hundred messages. We hope to expand as the Lord provides
opportunity and resources.

How the Romans Project is Working:
As we have challenged pastors throughout Liberia, Sierra Leon and
Nigeria to involve themselves in this project, the response has been
very heartening. We have an estimated 1000 pastors involved.
Many have already received their Mp3 players and are eagerly
listening to the 109 expository messages on Romans. Many others
have completed the reading and copying and are awaiting the next
shipment of players. Another 200 are still “qualifying” for a player by
the repeated reading of Romans. All are experiencing the joy and
blessing of giving themselves to God’s Word in this way. Imagine the
impact on their lives and ministries as they are able to become well
grounded in the gospel as they understand more clearly the book of
Romans. Many of these pastors have since continued in this study pattern, applying it to other books such as John and I Timothy.

"I am delighted to have these messages and combining the repeated reading
with listening to the messages from Scott is giving me much understanding.
I am gaining a complete picture of the Christian faith. The messages and the
language are so clear that I listen and feel like Scott is standing right in front
of me. This is helping me so much in my preparations to preach to my
congregation each week. Please send my greetings and love to Pastor Scott."
~Theophilus, Pastor in Monrovia (Liberia)
