Gramma and Papa are always so busy with the kids, they don't get many pictures. :)
Fun at their house while we were away for nine days included tea parties, digging holes in the backyard (that are not supposed to be toilets, as Gramma said in jest, but were used as one by my boy who thinks he is so funny), building trains, pizza making, picnics, and playing...playing...playing outside with the neighborhood kids. Abigail even had a special bonding time with Shelby's mommy, who lives next door to the grandparents. Driving Jeeps and chalk in the street are always a hit when the weather is good.
My favorite thing to hear is when kids come over and ask if my kids can come out and play; Gramma has to explain to them that they don't live there all of the time...they went back to their own home. My parents live on such a great street!!!
Quote from Papa when describing their time with the kids:
The kids ate well and were overall well behaved. They just know when to push us and are masters at playing off each other to try to get us to let them do what they want. They are very loving, healthy, and emotionally mature for their age kids, and are full of life. We love them so much and are glad that we can be in their lives.
...not as glad as we are!!! We are so blessed to have grandparents who retired to Oregon!

What a blessing your parents are! I'm so glad you were able to get away knowing the kids were in amazing hands. :)
