Papa Turn 69!

For those of you who need help with the math, this is my dad's last birthday before he is in his 70s!

He is "retired," but his schedule includes riding the mower to cut the church lawn, hosting people for BBQs, his weekly men's breakfast, helping his neighbors whenever he can (the ones who live on the street by his house and the ones on Farmville), serving food at the senior center, leading (and dressing up as whatever character he is teaching about at) Sunday school, forestry, fence building, and moonlighting as a chef.

To top all this off, he is Papa to my kids who adore him. Abigail yelled, "Yeah!" when Papa informed her that he was free to pick her up again after surgery. Isaac cannot wait to talk with Papa and build Lionel tracks with him.

He is an amazing man. In my opinion, he has gotten better with age!

(Pictures are from his party: A card he got, uncontrollable laughter with Steve, sushi making with Gramma and the neighbors, and the kids watching candles being lit).

Papa Tom is an amazing man! I love how humble he is; I had no idea he did all those things!
