We had some points that were expiring for our timeshare, so we took a drive up and stayed two nights at the Camlin in Seattle. Highlights: Singing Christmas songs with Abigail by th
e player piano in the lobby, Isaac taking Chris hostage and taping him up in the hotel room, riding the trolly and the monorail, swimming in the pool (which, they tell us, is the only outdoor pool in Seattle that is heated in the winter) and spa while it was so cold outside (but we had the whole thing to ourselves and loved it), and exploring all of downtown (it is a city full of a smorgasbord of smells, culture, people and food). We love making these little trips and hope the kids are making as many fond memories as we are.
