God, in his mercy, is healing Chris quickly and has been working out the details with the car crash that happened just 3 weeks ago Sunday. Chris' car was totaled. Though Chris has had to spend countless hours on the phone with the insurance companies, car repair places, car rental places, car dealers, doctors, etc, the process has still been pretty smooth. Chris was less injured that we first though (a few more trips to the chiropractor should take care of it), the other party was shown 100% at fault right away, we got a fair price for Chris' old car, and we got a great deal on Chris' "new" 2003 Honda Accord (owned by one older guy who only put 34,000 miles in it). We took it in to Honda to get a recall issue fixed. They checked it out and said it was a very good car. All it needed was new tires, an alignment and a new key (all of which we knew about before buying it). Thank You God that it was not a lemon in disguise! All said and done, the difference between his old car and this one is less than $1000 for a car which should last us years more than his Civic. Though we didn't want to put any more money into a car or have to endure any of this, we can still praise God for His goodness. It has been a great lesson for the kids...and a great reminder for us. God is good.
Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst...welling up to eternal life." John 4:13,14
