We used the free pass from the library again to go to the children's museum. It was so awesome (especially not having to pay the $24 normal admission). It is really nice to take advantage of the tax dollars we donate to the public library.
The museum has a special section dedicated to Bob the Builder that run through the beginning of January. It was so great for me to go with Daddy and not just the kids. It enabled me to devote some time to Abigail while Daddy played with
Here are Isaac's favorites today:
*Bob the Builder
*The dump trucks in the play bark
*Cooking Daddy food (in a play restaurant)...he could play with eggs and cheese (pretend) and they didn't cause him to have an allergic reaction
*Vacuuming and pumping balls through the tubes and watching them shoot out
*Playing with...surprise, surprise...toy trains
Abigail's favorites (trying to eat the following):
*The fake flowers in the play garden
*The pencil used to draw shapes in Bob's workshop
*The play bark by the dump trucks
*The blocks on the light table
*The pretend vice wheel that spun around
It was really cute to see Abigail excited about stuff today. Normally, when I take her out, she is being carried on my back and the only thing she plays with are her keys and my hair (that she pulls out). When she gets super excited about something, she gets REALLY loud and makes a guttural "AAAA" sound. Normally, she stays pretty q
While I was at the museum, I stopped to see my friend, Cheryl (who works for the school there). While the kids were napping, Chris had lunch with her husband, TJ. It was a fun day for the entire family.
