No, their grass is not fake, it gets brown, needs weeding, fertilizing, and watering, and lots of loving care - mine, on the other hand is not "fake", it is SYNTHETIC and needs only occasional sweeping to keep leaves and fallen stuff off it - it looks great 24/7/365.
