Funny moment with Isaac:
We were at the zoo. He asked if he can take a path that was marked by a sign. We told him to read the sign and answer the question himself. We went on to say, "See Isaac, it's so cool that you can read now. The ability to read will open so many door for you in life!"
He proceeded to read the sign, "Do not enter. Employees only."
"Actually," Isaac replies, "In this case, reading just closed a door."
Touche.
Another funny moment from our girl at the zoo:
Abigail (who detests nearly all vegetables and gets constant reminders that she needs to eat her "healthy foods" on her plate) is with us at the zoo watching the hippos. They are massive, move slow, and are laying down most times we see them.
At this time, the hippos were waddling around and eating the grass spread around their enclosure. After studying them for a moment, Abigail looks up and says to us, "See Mommy, vegetables aren't just healthy...they make you FAT!"
I had no quick answer to reply back to that one. We moved on to the next animal. :)
