We arrived at the Train Expo at 10 am when they opened and did not leave until 4 pm when they closed. The place looked like a giant hobby shop with lots of "old guys" who probably loved trains when they were Isaac's age. My boy could not get enough of the G, HO, & Z gauge trains. The O gauge was his favorite! (If you do not know what I am talking about, you are not the mother of a "real" Train Boy). He, literally, ran 20+ laps around this train table along side a stream train and was enamored with its pistons. It was actually really neat to me because it was so enjoyable to Isaac.
***Thanks, Carvers, for the birthday $, Isaac was so excited to buy a "Durango, CO" engine with this very own money.
***Linds, I think Isaac surpasses Trev's love of trains...we'll have to see what he is like when he turns 4.
***Springers, the train cake was so "sweet" (yummy and thoughtful). You are wonderful to our family and we had a great day with you all.
***Jesus, thank you for this splendid day, two delightful children, the privilege to be their mom and a for Chris, who works so hard for us and is a great dad and husband!

Girl, ADORABLE! I love Abigail's smile in the pic of just her and her brother. I do think you're right that Isaac loves trains more than my boy. He's doesn't know any technical terms like your smarty. We, too, spent some time with trains today- at Griffith Park. So sweet! xoxo
