First Pool and First Sleep-over

What a big day for our kiddos!!! It was the baby girls' first time in the pool. It was so fun to see her kicking her little chunky legs and she was in her little crab floaty. Her big brother LOVED pulling and pushing her around the pool as he made a motor boat noise. He was sad when she got tired and wanted to get out. It was also fun to see Daddy swimming with big brother in the big pool. We bought a swim shirt for him and he really likes it. It actually helps him to not hold on so tight and attempt to make swimming motions.

We woke the kids up from their naps to go to a friend's house (they were SO tired from the pool and from our big night out on the farm the night before). Our friends have a little boy (I posted a picture of him from our son's birthday because we didn't get the camera out last night) who is a few weeks older than our son and a baby girl a few days older than our daughter...it's really fun! Anyway, we let the kids play until our boy got VERY cranky from being so tired. We let him sleep on a sleeping bag in his friend's room. It was SO FUNNY. They were having a PARTY in there. He got in touble a few times for coming out of the room, but we said he could stay in and talk to his friend and read books as long as he wanted. Oh my goodness...they were having the best time. We'd go up and check on them and they were talking about trains and who knows what else, showing each other the toys they sleep with (Doggie & Elmo) and laughing SO HARD!!! It really showed me how much our boys are growing up. Needless to say, they got to sleep REALLY late...but it was a really fun first sleep-over. All this was going on while we played games and had yummy home-made blueberry pie...fun for us too. :)
There in one picture of our girl in a two-piece swim suit at home...as you can see...the big girl was too much for the little fabric...we changed her into a one-piece at the pool...it kept the rolls in much better.
