Count on Mom to find the coolest stuff (free). We have crafted, saw a live falcon and owl, dissected owl barf, watched a "Native American" (their t-shirts said Indian, but whatever) group dance, made bird feeders, wooden necklaces, and went on a guided bird watching hike...all on the "fly" because National Train Day was canceled/not hosted in Portland this year. I am thankful for a semi-smart phone that allowed me to look up the Portland Metro Parent Mag to find a fun event, and Telenav to get me there without getting lost,
