| The kids were asked how to make a Thanksgiving dinner. This is what he wrote (and his buddy, Jaden, too) |
It was so fun to join Isaac at his Thanksgiving Feast at school. Chris volunteered in the class the day before and had fun with the students chopping vegetables for "Stone Soup." At the feast, the soup was served with apple muffins. The places were set with the art the children made, a fall candle they assembled, and little booklets that told us what the kids were thankful for. I loved seeing Isaac sing and recite his poems with the class, but my favorite part was when we made eye contact with one another as he performed that caused us to both have "I love you smiles" beaming from ear to ear (Daddy said that he smiled so big his cheeks hurt). My second favorite part was the booklet with all the kids quotes in it. Isaac was happy to be able to share that he was thankful for God.
