The joy of cutting down a tree in the Northwest...

We went to our local tree farm and cut down our tree (a Noble Fir for only $25). There is an old steam train there too that Isaac could have stayed in forever. He kept ringing the bell over and over...and over (and the train doesn't even move). He "helped" Daddy saw/cut down the tree for the first time this year. It is so fun to have this memory every year.

When we came home, we decorated together. Abigail loved getting out the Christmas story books. Isaac loved helping string the lights and wanted to pay special attention to his train ornament form last year.
