We took the kids to a book signing of
Mo Willems, author and illustrator of the beloved Piggy and Gerald books. He read his newest book the a crowd of excited children who hung on every word. I even set aside my extreme frugalness and actually bought a book for each of them that he signed and they could keep (it wouldn't have gone well if I had him sign one of our library books). :)
