Happy Heart

My Mommy heart is happy today!

Isaac was having a friend from school over tonight for a sleepover. When the boy's dad dropped him off, he told me how his son was having trouble with a mean boy on his street. In the car on the way over, the boy told his dad that he was going to ask Isaac for advice because he knew he was a Christian. (Hurray that my son has a good reputation). His dad told him that that was a great idea and encouraged him to talk to Isaac.

Later, as the boys were playing, I was listening in on their conversation. The friend asked Isaac advice about the bully on his street. Isaac replied (this is really EXACTLY what he said), "Tell him about Jesus. Be nice to him anyway and still love him."

Oh how my heart is so happy!!! My great God is working in the heart of my little boy.


*On another note, Abigail is really hoping that when the Lord gives us new bodies, she will have purple skin. :) Yep, that is really what excites her. Oh my sweet girl!

*Chris had a Bible time with all the kids tonight and went over Matt 5:43,44 "You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’  But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." He had a great discussion with the kids and prayed for the bully on his friend's street.
