It happens every year. We plan a vacation anticipating what stages the kids are in, what their interest are and where we might make new fun family memories. We have "big plans" for how the kids will be forever impacted by some big amusement park, stunning hike or big city experience on our trip that will surely knock their socks. This year it was San Fransisco and Six Flags.
After our trip was over, we asked the kids what their very favorite part of the trip was.
Isaac said, "Playing in the pool together."
Abigail said, "Sleeping together with Isaac every night."
It is so true. Most often, the best moments that forever impact our children are just the ones filled with the joy of being together. The love we share as a family is enough to knock their socks off.
We realized that this was the very first week long vacation since Abigail was born that we have not been with friends or family. We didn't spit our time up...we spent every minute together. It couldn't have come at a more perfect time. With Chris working as hard as he has been, God gave us the most precious gift of just being our family.

| Our new favorite place in Windsor, CA. Can you tell the owners were Christians? |
| So brave to have white furniture in the yogurt shop... |
| ...even with chocolate that stains. |
| The town of Windsor is "darling!" Isaac thinks it looks like the buildings in the electric model train towns. |
| This girl is a brave little swimmer!!! |
| These floaties were worth every penny |
| They have the same cheeks and smile. :) |
| On the bike ride, the kids kept noticing that "Oregon is much prettier" |
| Isaac begs to pump gas when we are in CA. |
